A Michigan woman said a wrong turn led to her winning a $500,000 lottery prize being unaware of the amount in the jackpot as she thought it was $1,000 but realized it when she needed to use the money three months after.

It was after then she went to the lottery office to cash when the lottery employee told her the ticket was a $500,000 winner to her disbelief.

The 61-year-old Muskegon County woman told Michigan Lottery officials she had intended to pick up some scratch-off tickets from her preferred store, but a navigational error changed her plans and made her stop at the BP station on East Apple Avenue in Muskegon to select a Cashword Times 10 ticket that won her $500,000 lottery prize.

A Swedish strongman, Johan Espenkrona, threw a washing machine a distance of 14 feet and 7.2 inches in a washing machine-throwing competition in Milan, Italy breaking a Guinness World Record.

A Swedish strongman, Johan Espenkrona, threw a washing machine a distance of 14 feet and 7.2 inches in a washing machine-throwing competition in Milan, Italy breaking a Guinness World Record.

He broke the world record while going head-to-head with Dutch strongman Kelvin de Ruiter on the set of Guinness World Records’ Lo Show Dei Record in Milan.

De Ruiter initially broke the record with a 14-foot, 1-inch in an interesting throw but Espenkrona ultimately took the title by throwing his washing machine 14 feet and 7.2 inches.

Unbelievably, a line of 4,280 plastic lawn flamingos assembled by The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy reclaimed a Guinness World Records title

Parks officials in Buffalo, New York, assembled the flamingos — dubbed “FLOmingos” in honor of landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted — into a line Tuesday at the city’s Front Park.

Interestingly, it took the officials six months to plan the record attempt was timed to coincide with celebrations of Frederick Law Olmsted’s 200th birthday.

Parks officials originally set the record in 2018 with a line of 1,500 flamingos on Bidwell Parkway. The record was taken in 2019 by a South Carolina group called Pledge the Pink, which created a line of 3,753 flamingos.

A woman looked ‘like an ostrich’ wearing a dress she ordered and bought from a fashion retailer, ASOS, online in another bizarre story of 22nd June 2022. Isn’t that strange?

Kate Snooks ordered and bought a party dress on ASOS that was made up of thin strips of glittery black fabric to create a feathery effect, and while it looked sleek and stylish on the model but was disappointed looking ‘like an ostrich’ the Daily Star reports., when she tried it on, leaving her giggling on TikTok video.

In her video, Kate first shared a picture of the model on the website wearing the dress, before following it up with several pictures of herself in the garment – as she giggled and pulled faces at the fashion fail.

Meanwhile, Ashleigh Simpson, 23, suffered a fashion disaster recently when she chose the white bralette on the fashion retailer’s website as she thought it would be the perfect addition to her holiday wardrobe, but was left baffled when she opened the package to find a top that was far bigger than she was expecting which “didn’t even cover” her chest.

Moneypenny – a UK’s telephone answering service which has its £ 15 million HQ in 10 acres of Welsh countryside near Wrexham – that has a strange treehouse meeting room, private zoo, and pub is known for throwing parties for staff.

Staff hold meetings inside a treehouse which is perched 20ft above the reception desk in the trendiest UK office. Life-size models of giraffes and sheep are dotted around the building to amuse workers as they walk to meetings. And staff can enjoy free breakfasts every day and have access to a gym, a games room with table football and a pool table, and chill-out areas with beanbags and armchairs. The Dog ’n’ Bone offers a range of draught lagers, real ales, and house wines.

The company has about 900 workers but it’s looking to recruit about 70 more.

New workers are given a “desk budget” to help personalize their workspace with new lamps, and employees are encouraged to socialize with their colleagues as much as possible.

The doting Irish dad, Chris Dalzell – also known as Ireland’s most tattooed man – now 95% engulfed in ink, covered himself in body art including those of notorious gangsters Ronnie and Reggie Kray tattooed to his back – besides a portrait of his daughter in order to cope with his little girl’s health issues. Chris Dalzell has plans to add the handprints of his newborn daughter beside Ronnie.

Jessica, now six, has been in and out of hospital since birth and suffers from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a rare condition affecting connective tissues.

Thousands of creatures resembling penises have washed up on a US beach in California.

The pulsating creatures ‘’penis fish’’ as they are widely referred to are fat innkeeper worms or spoon worms, or Urechis caupo.

The weird-looking worms bury themselves in deep u-shaped burrows beneath the sand, but recent storms have uprooted them and Drakes Beach, about 50 miles north of San Francisco, has been covered in the creatures.

There is fossil evidence of the creatures dating back 300 million years and some live for up to 25 years, he added. They are eaten by otters, fish, and sharks.
