According to the report, Willa and Charles Bruce, a Black couple, previously purchased the beach for $1,225 in 1912 and would turn the land into a full-fledged resort for offering Black residential visitors everything from dressing tents and a lodge to a dance hall and a cafe. 

According to CNN, Charles Bruce’s family, the rightful owner of the property endured years of vandalism and acts of violence at a time when many beaches were racially segregated, including an attack by the Ku Klux Klan.

Those provocations notwithstanding, the family continued to operate the beach until 1924, when the city seized the land under eminent domain. Officials reportedly condemned the beach and surrounding areas, claiming the city had plans to build a city park.

Up till 1960, the proposed city park wasn’t still built, so the property was transferred in 1995 to LA County following concerns that evictees would take legal action if the land continued to remain vacant.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to return Bruce’s Beach which is now worth $20 million back to the descendants of the original owners.

In a weird and scary report, the wall at the shopping center of a completely intact Burger King restaurant with creepy vintage décor was found hiding in an unexpected place and the Delaware mall was blown away from the strange site, according to UPI News.

Until a recent photo was taken by mall vendor, Jonathon Pruitt went viral on Twitter. proved the incident, General Manager of the Concord Mall in Wilmington, Tom Dahlke, said he was unaware of the eatery,

Dahlke said he does not know how long the Burger King has been abandoned and concealed behind a wall, because the current management company took over in January 2020.

The deadly attack rendered one of Michael Simpson’s arms down but he is thankful that he was still living after his encounter with the shark, which could very easily have killed him.

The 29-year-old Simpson who has had about 30 years of fishing experience says the shark attack occurred due to the higher winds and stronger currents pulled deadly fish into waters closer and closer when he ventured into the Caribbean Sea.

The incident which took place in about 15 minutes between Half Moon Cay and Miller Bay, saw him narrowly survive the terrifying encounter with the dangerous shark, interestingly. “I felt something bounce on me, but I thought it was one of my friends at first.” narrated Simpson.

The heat inside the trailer packed with people was likely to have been significantly higher than the outside temperature, resulting in the deaths.

A committee of the National Association of Medical Examiners has recommended that bodies with temperatures of 105 or greater at the time of collapse be certified as heat-related deaths.

The dead include 39 males and 12 females, Bexar County officials said at an afternoon news conference. Tom Peine, the assistant public information officer for the county manager’s office, said it was possible some had not reached adulthood.

On Tuesday morning, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said 22 of the dead were Mexican nationals, while seven were from Guatemala and two from Honduras. The nationalities of the remaining 20 people had yet to be confirmed.
