Weird News: Prime Minister says workers should stop wearing neckties at work in order to save energy

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has asked government officials and people working in the private sector to save energy by giving up wearing neckties at work.

As energy is in high demand in Europe right now due to the ban on Russian crude oil and gas, the Spanish Prime Minister has suggested that workers should abandon wearing neckties at work in order to save up energy, in one of today’s latest bizarre news blog post.

According to the report, Pedro Sánchez has asked government officials and people working in the private sector to save energy by giving up wearing ties at work.

Rising energy costs for households and businesses in Spain have been a major issue in recent months, especially since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February. Sánchez said the government would present a new energy-saving plan next week, but he gave no details.

He said the plan was designed to cut utility bills and reduce energy dependency on “the aggressor, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin.”

He said he encouraged his ministers and public officials, “that if not necessary, don’t use a tie.”

According to the news report, Washington State has the highest number of reported sightings with 88 residents out every 100,000 reporting close encounters with mystery craft since records began in 1974

More than 150,000 UFO sightings have been reported worldwide over the past five decades, new figures reveal.

A staggering number of unexplained close encounters have been logged with the National UFO Reporting Center (sic) since it was founded in 1974.

They come on top of 143 unexplained sightings of mystery craft by military personnel currently under US Government investigation.

The center catalogs close encounters from around the world and are recognized by the police, military, US space agency NASA, air traffic controllers, the Federal Aviation Administration, and weather forecasters.

A cheery video is going viral on social media that shows a whale approaching a fishermen’s boat in the sea to save it from a rope tied around its body.

Watch an already viral video shared on social media which is trending where a fisherman makes internet users speechless after helping to free a whale tangled in a rope, in one of our today’s astounding strange news blog posts.

According to the interesting NDTV Weird News report, a video is going viral on social media that shows a whale approaching a fishermen’s boat in the sea to save it from a rope tied around its body.

The shared video clip shows a dazzling whale swimming toward the boat with three-four fishermen standing on its deck. The whale then emerges from the water to reveal itself and demonstrates to the humans that a rope has been tied around its body which is creating problems in swimming.

The fisherman then uses a fishing tool with a hook-like structure in a long stick to pull the rope that is preventing the whale from swimming freely interestingly. He finally cuts the rope with a knife-like tool. The whale then turns on its back and waves its fluke before going back to the depths of the ocean.

Since being shared, the video has received over 62,000 views and more than hundreds of likes on YouTube.
