The highly infectious delta variant has transformed the COVID-19 pandemic and is accounting for the mouth-watering majority of new cases globally, now with varying symptoms in kids. And new cases in US children are up 85% in recent weeks, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had sent a clear message to that effect, alerting the world on how different the delta variant is.
