What is?
Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program (CCSEP) Scholarship Award is an official exchange program between the Canada and China designed to enhance Chinese scholars’ and professionals’ knowledge and understanding of Canada.

Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program (CCSEP) Yearly Scholarship Award is funded by the Canadian Embassy in China and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China via China Scholarship Council (CSC).
Purpose
The program is designed to enhance Chinese scholars’ and professionals’ knowledge and understanding of Canada so that upon their return home they can make a distinctive contribution to life in China and to mutual understanding between Canada and China.

Eligibility
Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program offers awards to full-time, permanent teaching or research staff, master’s or doctoral graduates Chinese students as well as non-academics in Canada holding senior professional posts (e.g., judges, broadcasters, economists)
Requirements
To be eligible for the China Scholarship Council (CSC) exchange program, candidates must be Chinese citizens and fit into one of the following categories: full-time teaching or research staff, students at a Designated Learning Institution in China, or mid-career professionals with a graduate degree and relevant experience.
Additionally, they must meet the language requirement, pursue an exchange at an eligible institution and not seek a degree in Canada.
Courses/Fields
The program focuses on Canadian studies, with an emphasis on social sciences and humanities. Relevant fields include business, economics, law, international relations, history, politics, sociology, geography, arts, literature in English or French, linguistics, education, communications policy, media studies, science policy, sociology, environmental studies, architecture, and other related areas.
