The University of Alabama – Homecoming: Parade and 2021 Homecoming Queen McLean Moore, a senior from Tuscaloosa

The University of Alabama concluded its homecoming celebration on Saturday with the theme “Together we rise”.

 One of the highlights of the return trip was the Saturday afternoon parade on University Boulevard, which began in downtown Tuscaloosa and continued on to the AU campus.

 Former American football player Rashad Johnson is the leader of the march. Three medical officers who are also UA graduates have served as honorary marshals: Maggie Lawrence, Lindsey Killion, and Dr. Jackie Luke.

 In the first round in the match against the University of Tennessee, McLean Moore, a senior from Tuscaloosa has crowned the 2021 homecoming queen.

Homecoming 2021: Football Match and Iron Bowl

This year’s homecoming camp also includes Laney Ackles from Norfolk, Virginia, Noelle Fall of Birmingham, Montana Fouts of Grayson, Kentucky, and Savanah Lemon from Nashville, Tennessee.

 On Friday night, UA held a  rally in the Quad attended by the Million Dollar Band, cheerleaders, and Big Al. The event ended with a bonfire. The next

 AU home football match will be on November 6 against LSU. Two more home games follow, on 24 November. November 13 against the state of New Mexico and November 20 against Arkansas, before the Crimson Tide, concludes the regular season with a road trip to Auburn for the Iron Bowl on November 27.

Homecoming “Together We Rise”: Collective Growth Towards United Excellence

This year’s 2021 homecoming theme is “Together We Rise”, which speaks to us acknowledging the collective spirit flowing through alumni, current students, and beyond in making UA a great place to live! The spirit of ups and downs is a force that grows collectively through our united excellence. We see returning home as a time to explore our mission and the victories and growth that have brought us forward.

 Sunday begins with the 33rd edition of Roll Tide Run and ends with the coronation of the 2021 homecoming queen during halftime  Alabama vs. Tennessee. We hope that this year will be filled with enthusiasm, enthusiasm, and participation from cross-campus students.
