In one of our weirdest news, we report about a man who pretended and posed as the missing son of a landlord and lived with the family for 41 years has been found guilty and given a prison sentence.

According to the BBC’s report, after putting the pieces of the unbelievably bizarre and fascinating story of deceit and delay in justice, captioned: ‘’ Bihar: Their son vanished – then an imposter took over for 41 years: Dayanand Gosain pretended to be the missing son of a landlord and lived with the family for 41 years, a teenage boy, Kanhaiya Singh, the only son of an affluent and influential zamindar (landlord) in Nalanda district, Bihar, India went missing while returning from the second day of exams in February 1977 only to be replaced by one Dayanand Gosain, four years after as the rich man’s bonafide son.

The landlord Kameshwar Singh got convinced and accepted Dayanand Gosain as a son after he was told by a village shaman told him that his 16-year-old son was alive and would “appear” soon even though he peered to see him but couldn’t recognize him.

Singh’s wife, Ramsakhi Devi, came home and realized that the man was not her son, claiming that her son had a cut mark on the left side of the head which was missing in the man. The impostor vehemently refused to provide a DNA sample to prove he was the landlord’s daughter’s elder brother.

Ramsakhi Devi filed a case of impersonation and the man was arrested briefly and spent a month in jail before securing bail. Even as he was on bail, he assumed a new identity, went to college, got married, raised a family, and secured multiple fake identities.

Using different IDs, he voted, paid taxes, gave biometrics for a national identity card, got a gun license, and sold 37 acres of Singh’s property.

According to the judges who found the man guilty of impersonation, cheating, and conspiracy and sent him to prison for seven years, his real name was Dayanand Gosain, who hailed from a village in Jamui district, and was the youngest of four sons of a farmer in Jamui that he sang and begged for a living.

In the scary story of impersonation and deception, in which a man pretended to be the missing son of the landlord and inveigled himself into his house ended interestingly as justice was served after all.

It appears weird to me that a teenage girl who faces losing her legs by amputation above the knees after she was attacked by a dangerous shark says that she doesn’t fear the ocean still.

According to the Guardian News on the terrifying story with the title: ‘’Florida teen who faces losing a leg after shark attack says: don’t fear the ocean, a teenage girl who survived an attack by a shark off Florida’s coast, but not without needing her right leg amputated above the knee has said she is not scared of the ocean.

Addison Bethea, a 17-year-old from Florida, US, insisted ‘I’m still going to do what I love’ as she faces amputation following the Fourth of July weekend incident.

“Don’t be scared of the ocean,” Addison Bethea told Miami’s CBS affiliate from her bed when asked to send a message to the public. “I’m still going to do what I love – don’t just let fear overtake your life.”

The 17-year-old had gone swimming at several spots on Florida’s Gulf coast on 30 June in order to collect scallops before Independence Day. While she was in waters 5ft deep off Keaton Beach, about 75 miles south-east of the state capital, Tallahassee, a 9th-long shark bit her but her brother Rhett Willingham, a firefighter, was just a few feet away in the boat when he saw the shark lock its mouth around Bethea’s thigh came to her rescue.

China has developed a technology that can read the mind of the human including the need for pornography as revealed in a video

China has claimed to have developed an artificial intelligence (AI) technology capable of reading the mind of humans even to know when they need pornography, in this weird news, captured on video.

In the bizarre news report, according to news.com.au headed: ‘’ China has developed a technology that can read the mind of the human: Chinese researchers claim they have AI capable of reading minds’’, the Chinese government is now implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence to monitor the minds of dozens of Communist party officials.

Researchers in China claimed to have developed software that can acutely analyze facial expressions and brain waves to monitor if subjects were attentive to “thought and political education.”

In a short video clip, a subject was seen looking at a screen at a kiosk, scrolling through exercises promoting party policy. – the technology in the kiosk is able to note the researcher’s expressions and pinpoint their reaction to particular pieces of content.

China’s stringent police state has been radically upscaled over the past decade, using big data, machine learning, face recognition technology, and artificial intelligence to build what many have labelled the world’s most complex digital dictatorship.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, secretary of the Communist Party and leader of the nation of 1.4 billion, has demanded absolute loyalty to the party it and has previously declared that “thought and political education” is an essential part of the government’s doctrine.

The high-tech development would be used to have citizens tracked by a digital social credit system – those who are deemed untrustworthy to the government risk losing basic privileges and the faithful receive “spiritual rewards,” in the form of certificates of appreciation or up to $14,925, depending on the usefulness of their information.

Two killer orcas, Port and Starboard, have slaughtered at least 8 great white sharks since 2015

The report by Livescience says that since 2017, a pair of male orcas (Orcinus orca) slaughtered at least eight great white sharks (Carcharodon carcharias) near the Gansbaai coast east of Cape Town, South Africa, tearing the fearsome fish apart and eating their livers in all but one case. Some of the sharks — which scientists periodically find dead and shredded on nearby beaches — were even missing their hearts.

An unbelievably 76-million-year-old dinosaur skeleton that is worth between $5 million to $8 million is to be auctioned in New York City on the 28th July.

According to an NPR news report with the caption: ‘’A 76 million-year-old dinosaur skeleton will be auctioned in New York City’’, the fossilized skeleton of a T. rex relative that roamed the earth about 76 million years ago will be auctioned in New York this month.

The Gorgosaurus skeleton will highlight Sotheby’s natural history auction on July 28, the auction house said.

The Gorgosaurus was an apex carnivore that lived in what is now the western United States and Canada during the late Cretaceous Period. It predated its relative the Tyrannosaurus rex by 10 million years.

The specimen being sold was discovered in 2018 in the Judith River Formation near Havre, Montana, Sotheby’s said. It measures nearly 10 feet (3 meters) tall and 22 (6.7 meters) feet long.

Sotheby’s presale estimate for the fossil is $5 million to $8 million.

Unexpectedly as many would think, the personal data of about 1 billion Chinese citizens have likely been leaked due to carelessness as to one of the latest reports.

In the news titled: ‘’Poor security practices may have led to one of the largest breaches of personal data in history – One Billion Chinese Files Were Likely Leaked by Sloppiness, Not Hacking’’, according to Bloomberg, the global cybersecurity community was set alight this week by news that data on more than 1 billion people were leaked from a Shanghai police database likely wasn’t a hack that caused it, but basic errors in digital hygiene.

The sample of the data posted in an online forum from the database shows records of people across China with names, identification and mobile phone numbers, the original source of the data, and a reference to the first time the details were entered into the record followed by the asking price which includes several billion case records is just 10 bitcoin ($202,000).

This indicates the seller is someone who happened across the data and is being opportunistic rather than a professional hacker motivated by money. Whereas hackers seek to penetrate a computer system, possibly using malware and phishing attacks, this breach seems to be far more straightforward. It appears a software developer may have left an access key visible in an online code repository or in a blog post, according to data posted in public forums and social media, and discussions among people familiar with the case but not directly involved.

Data breaches are notoriously common. From targeted attacks — as in the 2020 Solarwinds hack by Russian agents — to those caused by poor security, like the 2019 case of First American Financial Corp. Yet this Shanghai police incident may end up being one of the largest ever leaks, especially given the depth of information contained.

In another similar weird report captioned: ‘’Hackers Claim Theft of Police Info in China’s Largest Data Leak: WATCH: Hackers claimed to have stolen data on as many as a billion Chinese residents after breaching a police database’’, unknown hackers have claimed to have stolen data on as many as a billion Chinese residents after breaching a Shanghai police database, in what industry experts are calling the largest cybersecurity breach in the country’s history.

The person or group claiming the attack has offered to sell more than 23 terabytes of stolen data from the database, including names, addresses, birthplaces, national IDs, phone numbers, and criminal case information, according to an anonymous post on an online cybercrime forum last week. The unidentified hacker was asking for 10 bitcoin, worth around $200,000.

Swiegelaar, who was involved in Christian ministry 20 years ago before becoming an atheist, recalled what drew him to Satanism four years ago and said people join the Church of Satan and resonate with Satanism because they come from a very broken place, reiterating that he had met thousands of Satanists over the last three years who were extremely broken and hurt.
