3 UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS IN POLICE NET FOR GANG-RAPING A FEMALE STUDENT

3 undergraduate students of College of Health Technology, Akure, Ondo State who were arrested are now in police net for allegedly gang-raping a female student of the institution according to a news report
It was gathered that the victim whose name was not disclosed is a student at the Environmental Health Technician Department of the state government-owned college. She was at the residence of her boyfriend at Barristers Lodge area of the school when the incident occurred according to the report.
Femi Joseph who is the State Police PRO identified Charles Eyitayo, Damilola Aderoboye and Blessing Michael as the undergraduate student suspects and said that they would be charged to court once the investigation into the matter is concluded.
Abiola Ogunro, the Dean of Student Affairs (DSA) confirmed that police had started their investigations into the case and had promised to inform them about the outcome, having attested that the department is aware of the rape case.
The victim said she was in the room when the 3 undergraduate students forced themselves into the room; one of them undressed her and the 3 of them raped her forcefully. She said she had begged them to let her alone but they refused.
The victim said they had told her of having the record of the escapade and threatened to upload the videos of it on social media should she inform anyone.
However, the report said she told her friend in confidence because she could no longer keep the trauma to herself.but her friend went ahead to report to the police
The police tracked the boys and arrested them.
