In Bhutan, preschool education is available for children aged 3-5 years and primary education covers grades 1-6. Secondary education includes grades 7-10 and grades 11-12 are considered higher secondary education. Bhutanese students can pursue higher (tertiary) education at colleges and universities, both within the country and abroad.
In Singapore, most children receive a preschool education spanning two to three years before doing compulsory 6 years elementary school education after which they will move on to complete a four or five years secondary school education-only and then likely secondary school-junior college and/or moving to tertiary (higher) education level.
