In an unbelievably strange news blog post of today, we report that two Indian babies who died 30 years ago were married in a wedding ceremony in order for the families to be blessed.
According to the latest strange and weird news blog report, the two dead babies Chadappa and Shobha were married in a wedding ceremony, but there weren’t there.
The Indian couple’s big strange day followed the same seven-step Hindu marriage ritual many brides and grooms undergo, known as Saptapadi.

In the strange wedding ceremony, clothes were used to cover two chairs to represent the Chadappa and Shobha have been dead for almost 30 years during the night-time ceremony which brought together the elated family members who had organised the ceremony for the families to be blessed.
“Pretha Kalyanam” or “marriage of the dead” is a tradition in some coastal communities in the states of Karnataka and Kerala in India.
This strange kind of marriage is usually conducted between deceased brides and grooms who died as babies or young people under the age of 18, often to ward off bad luck brought upon the bereaved families if their departed sons and daughters do not wed.
Weddings for the dead also take place in China, Japan, South Sudan, and France – with the practice looking very different in each region.
