This year’s number one for US users is a video of a confectioner slowly making a giant chocolate giraffe statue, with soft piano music playing in the clip. It has been played over 308 million times. Compare this to last year’s best video, a drone-captured dance video that had 314 million views when the 2021 report came out. And they both pale in comparison to the top videos of 2020.
TikTok star Bella Porch dubs “M to the B.” At this point, it had over 500 million plays.
The only regular appearance is @chipmunksoftiktok, who came in second to her this year and last year.
