FIFA and Europe Club Association are backing Football Cares initiatives in the project of finding the school-age children

 A good number of English Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspurs; Spanish La Liga clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Italian Seria A Clubs including AS Roma, Juventus are among the top European clubs that joined the Football Cares initiative to search for missing school-age children across the world using the Social Media.

The top clubs among other European clubs totaling 86 in number are participating in the Football Cares initiative which is using social media to create awareness of the missing school-age children across the world with photographs, videos, and details of whom to contact to get an idea about their whereabouts.

The Football Cares initiative was taken up with some English Premier League clubs.  Top English Premier League clubs – Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspurs, and Manchester City joined the Football Cares initiative on Monday, May 25 for the search of the missing school-age children as the world marks International Missing Children’s Day.

The initial project was started by Serie A side AS Roma. AS Roma displayed the videos of a number of school-age children that have gone missing, on social media which they have continued to do over the past two seasons. The images of the children depict the last time they were seen along with the location and contact details of whom get in touch with.

Two English Premier League clubs – Manchester United and Arsenal posted the messages on Twitter to create awareness concerning the missing school-age children all across the world.

The top two football governing bodies, The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the European Club Association are also backing the Football Cares initiative, which is run by the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC).
